Thank you, I was yet again torn. This was the closest shot I had, I didn't feel the desert really got what it deserved in this shot, but still... I have a selection of other ones further out. I was running out of space by this point. Next time I'll have my 2 4gigs working and ready for a barrage of photos.

You know, I'm not even sure how much space I used on my trip. There were a couple of days I went through my 3 gig worth of cards. I'm working on one of those days now, the Isle of Skye. But I kept dumping everything to my 100 gig hard drive and I never came close to having to dump anything. Not even the music and videos I brought with.

The funny thing is, I could probably learn to do without the space. I'd say about 8 times out of ten, I go nuts taking photos of something I like from every imaginable angle, and it's still that first shot of it I go with. So, most of the time, if I stuck with my gut, I'd be alright.

I'll usually take a maximum of 2 shots of anything now. 2 angles at most. Unless it's long exposure, where you have to take a few to get calibrated and see what comes out within frame.

Some things one or two shots. Other things, something that I'm just "wow" then the shutter is going nuts... Yet, it's usually the first shot or two that I decide is the keeper... oh well....

OK, after you kind comments I thought I'd look over your gallery.

O M G, this is special. Definitely in the "I wish I'd taken that" category.
Definitely don't get sunsets like this in Derbyshire.

Wow, this is one of the best thing I remember you submitting. This whole sahara trip of yours has been great, and this is my favorite so far. You even managed to catch a little bit of the green glow just on top of the sun that happens for some optical physics reason.
