Requiem

How long passed?
And nothing changed
No, that's not quite true
A bit older, yes
A bit wiser, maybe
Any better? No...

A slowly descending spiral
To what?
To pass on
To new Life
Spare me,
Transparent fallacies

Clear progression seen
In retrospect
Yet nothing gained
In the end
In the end
Perspective is all I have

Perspective
To what avail?
To the end...
Purgatorial Abyss
What is beyond,
The infinate precipice?

Such a waste
The prison,
Of a burnt out body;
For the Mind
Semi-Neutralised
Awaiting release

Release
Or escape?
Insubstantional compulsion
Bleakness
Toll taken
Close, so close

Fundamental technicalities
Rhetoric
Life and questions
Focus and Recede
Focus... and Recede...
Futility accepted

And now
Time ends
Spiritual transition
Angels set in
To carry me home
On broken wings
Ok, this will be my last piece for now (maybe forever)

It's done specially... for this occasion
